Elopements

Putting your love front and center

You’ve decided that you want to elope. Perhaps you want this to be a private moment for the two of you (you can always include a few of your closet loved ones if you want), or you’re saving that wedding budget for the honeymoon, or you’re getting the formality of the legal stuff out of the way before the big wedding next year or over seas (or maybe to meet marriage-immigration deadlines, because those are real). For whatever the reason, an elopement is simply special. It shifts the focus from family expectations, conventions, and big spending back on to you two; what you find meaningful, how to keep it fun and low stress, and how you can memorialize this great leap together your way. Personally, I love them.

Unlike a full fledged wedding, for an elopement, your photographer may be one of your biggest investments, if not the biggest. They’re going to make up a larger part of your experience and will be collaborating with you to capture the day how you want to experience it. So let’s talk about it.
